On 20th of February, H.E. Mr. Fumio IWAI, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hosted a reception at his residence to celebrate 64th birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan Naruhito. H.R.H. Mohammed bin Abudlrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, and many guests from the Saudi government, diplomatic corps, and private sectors attended this reception.
In his speech, Ambassador Iwai mentioned that frequent high-level visits from both countries, such as the visit of Prime Minister Fumio Kishida last July, have further deepened the dialogue on the bilateral cooperation. Ambassador Iwai also mentioned the keenness of Japanese stakeholders to cultivate friendship and cooperation with the kingdom, as well as the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations that both countries will celebrate in 2025.
