Embassy of Japan in Riyadh has organized “Japanese Festival” introducing Japanese popular culture 16, 17 March 2023, in collaboration with Literary Club in Riyadh.
The Embassy has screened the Japanese movies “Dad’s Lunch Box” with Arabic subtitles. This year’s Japanese Speech Contest witnessed the highest ever contestants numbering to 21. Participants enjoyed exchanging their ideas with Japanese companies’ people at the end of the contest.

At the two days, the Japanese Cultural Experience exhibited a series of cultural demonstration such as Kimono (Japanese Traditional Costume), Japanese Calligraphy, Japanese traditional games and toys (Kendama, Otedama, Origami, etc), chatting booth, exhibitions by Japanese and Saudi companies, live cultural performances (Mini-Concert by Ms.Hitomi TSUBURAYA and Singer. Nahomi KOYASU, IAI, and KARATE), attracting many visitors in the two days.
