 On October 7, 2021, Ambassador Iwai presented a certificate of Commendation to Mr. Faisal J. Abbas, Editor in Chief, Arab News. Ambassador Iwai extended his deepest regards to Mr. Faisal in recognition of his distinguished service in contributing to the deepening of mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia especially since the launch of Arab News Japan in October 2019.
