IWAI Fumio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Dear friends,
Hello everybody. My name is IWAI Fumio, Ambassador of Japan in Saudi Arabia. This is my second time at the Embassy in KSA, since I served as the Deputy Chief of Mission 10 years ago. I am really grateful and honored to come back here as Ambassador of my country.
I am so impressed to see the recent social and economic development which has been achieved in the Kingdom. The relations between Japan and the Kingdom have also developed further in these years. I am determined to enhance the bilateral relations in various fields, contributing to deepen the friendship between the two countries. I am really looking forward to working with friends and colleagues as well as Japanese citizens in KSA, to achieve this common objective.
I am also looking forward to visiting many parts of the Kingdom which have rich natural environment and enjoying my time in KSA.
