On the 21st of February, Japanese Ambassador Tsukasa Uemura visited Unicharm Gulf Hygienic Industries Ltd. (UGHI) located in Riyadh’s Second Industrial City. UGHI produces BabyJoy diapers, Sofy feminine napkins and Lifree adult diapers and also produces a full range of household tissue products. The visit included a tour of the manufacturing and R&D facilities and also a tour of UGHI’s Saudi women factory. Ambassador Uemura had a meeting with Chief Executive Office, Mr. Mahdy Katbe and his team and received a presentation about UGHI’s activities and achievements over the past 25 years of presence in the Saudi and other Middle East & North African markets (MENA).
