Temporary Visa (within 90 days)
 It is for the stay of up to 90 days for the activities such as tourism, business, visiting friends or relatives, etc. but do not include remunerative activities.Your passport should have at least 2 blank visa pages and be valid for several months before expiry date.

   Ordinary passport holders with KSA nationality  
   ・Single Entry Visa
   ・Multiple Entry Visa(for Business Purpose and Cultural or Intellectual Figures)  
    (Additional documents)
    Multiple entry visa applicants with business or cultural purpose who have never been to Japan (i.e.,without visa stamp on your passport), need to
   submit invitation letter and itinerary for the stay in Japan (some cases also need a letter of guarantee) from a person/guarantor who is inviting you
   to Japan.
 
   Ordinary passport holders with Other Nationalites

   ・A photocopy of re-entry permit into KSA
   ・A photocopy of Iqama
 
   Visa for Medical Stay
  
 Diplomatic / Official passport holders with KSA nationality
  (Required documents)
  ・Valid Passport
  ・Application form and 1 photograph
  ・Note verbal from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs certifying the identity of the person concerned, his or her purposes and traveling schedule 
    to Japan.
 
   Notes
 ・Application form: has to be filled out completely by the applicant and signed.
 ・Photograph: has to be taken within the last 6 months, with the size, 45mm x 45mm, with plain background.
 ・Application without original passport is not to be accepted.  However, if an applicant wishes to retain the passport for urgent travel, some cases   
  will be considered upon a written request.
 
Works and Long-Term Stay
 For Works and Long-Term Stays exceeding 90 days, it is advisable to apply by a proxy in Japan beforehand for Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Ministry of Justice in Japan. (Procedures Chart for Work or Long-Term Stay)

   ○Letter of Financial Support from Ministry of Education in KSA (for Government scholarship student)
   ○Letter of Financial Support from guarantor(for Non-government scholarship student)
     ○Certificate of Income and Profession in guarantor(for Non-government scholarship student)
 ・Photocopy of Iqama (for other nationalities)
 
Application Hours
Application hours : 08:30 -12:00 (excluding Fridays, Saturdays and special holidays).
 Documents will be accepted at Visa Section. If the applicant falls under one of the following categories his/her representative can apply.
 ・Those who hold a Diplomatic or Official passport.
 ・Those who are traveling with business purposes.
 ・Those who have traveled to Japan within last 5 years.
 ・Those who are either under 16 years or over 60 years of age.
 ・Those who are physically disabled.
 ・Those who are traveling as part of a group tour.
  
Passport Pick-up
 The date to pick up the passport will be written on the receipt after the submission of application documents. It will usually be ready for pick-up after 3 working days, during 12:00-14:30.But in some cases it may take 4 days, or even longer than one week.
 
Visa Fees (Click here)
 Visa fees must be paid by cash only. Personal checks and credit cards are not accepted.
Visa fee will be gratis for Diplomatic and Official passport holder, and nationals from countries that have reciprocal agreements with Japan.
 
Others
・In some cases, additional documents may be required.
・In case a visa is not granted, we usually explain Criteria of Visa Issuance but cannot disclose the reasons of such refusal to the applicant or persons concerned. We do not accept the same application from the same person within six months from the date of the visa refusal.
